Asthma Home Remidies
Asthma is a disease of the respiratory system. Your respiratory system is made up of your nose and mouth, your windpipe (also called your trachea), your lungs, and a bunch of air tubes (or airways) that connect your nose and mouth with your lungs (these tubes are called bronchi and bronchioles).
Asthma home remedy #1Make tea with wild cherry tree bark. You can drink the tea hot or cold, whatever you prefer. Add more or less bark to your taste and be sure to drink some tea every day. You can also try ephedra extracts for tea.
Asthma home remedy #2When an inhaler or nebulizer is not handy, run a hot shower for about three to four minutes. Close all doors to let the steam build up. Then walk in the room with the steam and take deep breathes until steam has dissapated. The steam will help open the lungs.
Asthma home remedy #3If you do not have an inhaler handy, coffee does the trick. It should be hot and as strong as you can take it. The caffein will oven your lungs and airways. Dont put milk or cream in it however because these will cause flem in your throat and make breathing harder.
Asthma home remedy #4Go somewhere where the air is cold and just sit and take deep breaths. This will open your airways and make breathing easier.
