If you have allergies it's likely that you inherited this trait. Allergic reactions are caused by allergens. An allergy is basically an error in your imune system. The symptoms can be any or all of the following:

Chew peeled cloves of garlic or take garlic capsules
Drink nettle or sage tea; they contain mineral salts

If you suffer from seasonal allergies try avoiding bread, rice and pasta as much as possible. You can eat these items again in the off-season.
